Connacht Junior/Senior/Masters Championships

The Connacht Junior, Senior and Masters Outdoor T&F Championships will take place on Monday 7th June 2021 at the Regional Sports Centre, Dangan, Galway. Entry for this will be €5 per event (collection of fees to be confirmed). Entries close on MONDAY 31st MAY – Entry forms are with club secretaries.

We will unfortunately not be able to accommodate guest (non-Connacht) athletes at these championships

Due to the very restrictive nature of competitions under COVID guidelines we would really like to request that athletes consider very carefully what events they enter. Athletes should be well prepared and proficient in all of their events; this is not a time for ‘giving it a go’. We are aiming to put on a top-quality competitive event for athletes who are preparing for National or International competitions. We would like to encourage all athletes to avail of competitive opportunities within their own Counties and Clubs as a priority.

Please note, that as of this moment there is no Hammer or Steeplechase on offer.

In line with current government guidelines, there will be no provision for spectators at the event, Juveniles will be allowed 1 accompanying adult if required.
