REMEMBER: This is not a competition, it is to provide training and coaching in competition craft and to experience the feel of competition ahead of the Galway Championships. No medals are awarded, although each athletes performance will be posted as a record of their participation in the event.
REMEMBER: We are volunteers, we are doing our best to ensure this event is compliant with all current health guidelines. Clubs have the ultimate responsibility in keeping their athletes in pods until they are called forward for their session. Please listen out for announcement on the PA.
REMEMBER: This is a ‘behind closed doors training event’. We cannot permit parents in to the ‘field of play’ whilst the sessions are going on. We ask that the clubs remind parents of this. Parents must hand over their children to a nominated club official at the entrance gate (by the equipment shed) in Dangan. Any incidence of parents getting into the sessions will result in an immediate cancellation of the event – this will be necessary for us to maintain our compliance with public health guidelines
